Paste any token, NFT or launchpad contract. It checks who can delete or change it, whether money has been pulled out, where that money went, and whether you can get anything back. Free, read-only, and no wallet connection.
On NEAR, your wallet doesn't hold tokens or NFTs. Each token is its own contract account, and your balance is just a line in that contract's storage. Whoever controls the contract controls those lines.
With a full-access key, the owner can delete the account. Every balance and NFT disappears with it, and wallets can't show them any more. NEAR blocks deleting contracts that hold a lot of data, so ruggers often wipe the data first.
An upgradeable contract can get new code that zeroes balances, blocks transfers or moves NFTs to the dev. Watch for exports like upgrade, migrate or set_code.
Launchpads and bonding curves hold everyone's NEAR in one contract. An owner-only emergency_withdraw can empty it, and then every sell fails with "Exceeded the account balance".
If the dev owns the pool's LP shares or a big chunk of supply, they can pull the pool or dump on buyers. The contract never has to change.
It's "locked". Nobody can sign as it to delete it or swap its code.
Or, if there are, they're controlled by a DAO or multisig you trust.
Several deploys in the first hours, like KayraPad's three, is a red flag.
Also check the top 10 wallets don't hold most of the supply.
On bonding-curve launchpads, your tokens sit inside the pad until they "graduate". If the pad is drained, you can't sell.
NEAR Rug Check is free, has no ads, and will never ask you to connect a wallet. Donations pay for the server and better data, and they fund new checks like live rug alerts, more launchpads and a Telegram bot.
